Weekly Cleaning Rhythm Printable

I mentioned awhile back that I was creating a weekly cleaning rhythm PDF and heeeere she is! I hope you love it as much as I do and are able to smoothly integrate it into the rhythm of your home. This print out is designed to hang somewhere where you’ll be able to check items off as you go, starting with simple everyday tasks and then moving onto more detailed weekly chores. Each new day invites you to set a mindful intention and then lists several items to be done to keep your home clean and tidy. I have added one additional line for you to write in a chore if you prefer, or perhaps a little reminder for that day.

Know that this tool can be used as an anchor for you return to you when you are feeling a bit off and need realignment, or simply something you use daily to help you out. It’s up to you! As Lousia May Alcott said, “The humblest tasks get beautified if loving hands do them.” I hope this simple tool will add more beauty to your cleaning rhythm and to your home.

  • Jessica - How do you manage to clean so much with 3 kids? What do they do while you clean? I am struggling to keep the house clean with only 2!ReplyCancel

    • admin - Jessica, here’s what I responded to Brooke and I’ll share the same with you sweet mama…Gosh I have been there girl! You are talking to someone who gets overwhelmed super easily…you’re not alone. Being a mom is the hardest thing in the world and sometimes tidying the home feels like the last thing you need to be doing. I have learned to let go of some things that are not live-giving and are wasting my time and devote the hours I do have during the day to things that make life better, happier and easier for me. I feel that when I am able to get some of these tasks done I am just more positive and that energy spills over into other areas of my life, such as mothering. If you feel like you have too much on your plate know that you can take a few things off to help. This is coming from a gentle place from someone who tends to pile her plate far too high! Sending you love today! x AmandaReplyCancel

  • Elise - Thanks for this — it’s lovely. Out of curiosity, how much of this would you have gotten done when your babies were little (6 mo or less)? I feel like simple daily chores are about all we can manage with 3 little ones. 😩😃ReplyCancel

    • admin - Elise, you’re welcome! I think you’ll find that there will be some days you can accomplish most of these tasks with out a problem and things will flow, and then some weeks where you can’t. That’s all okay! Do what you can and know that that’s enough. This is a rhythm that I eased into and found helps me at home. We’ve got three little turkeys five and under and I know all too well that life can feel rushed, having an anchor in place helps ground me so things don’t feel so overwhelming but I know that’s not how everyone operates. Just do what you feel is a good fit for you mama! x AmandaReplyCancel
